Here's your chance to learn from the best trainers in the business: it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. This camp was made possible by Red Bull Canada. This could be a one-shot deal, so don't miss out. Do you feel like skiing off-piste on big mountains, venturing into steeper terrain or even couloirs? How do you ski powder, moguls or glades? What are the techniques for difficult slope sections? What are the differences between resort and off-piste skiing? To gain confidence and feel more solid in irregular terrain, narrow passages and variable conditions, you need to practice, practice, practice! This camp aims to improve individual skills in downhill skiing or snowboarding, so that you can make the most of your off-piste outings.
On the menu: two intensive days with renowned coaches in the Mont Tremblant area. One group of female skiers and one group of snowboarders: you'll have VIP access to the lift, renowned level 4 coaches (not accessible through any other means than the camp) and a no-pressure atmosphere at La Couleur des Chèvres to push your limits. At the end of the two days, you'll leave with tools and tips to help you have more fun and better attack your off-piste runs. You'll get personalized advice on how to continue developing as a skier/boarder.

Your professional coaches
Geneviève Pilotto: I started snowboarding at the age of 7 in ski doo boots in my backyard, then at the Côte-des-Chats ski resort in St-Pacôme, and I haven't stopped since. At 15 I started teaching and at 19 I became a trainer for CASI. I taught at several stations in Quebec and out west; part-time during my CEGEP and university terms, then full-time in the sabbatical years I took between years of study. When I finished my bachelor's degree in journalism, I went back out west to teach, and then became a mom. I continued my role as a trainer, and a little later took on that of training coordinator for Quebec and the Atlantic region for 7 years. For just over a year now, I've held the position of Program Director for CASI, where I'm responsible for the technical supervision of the organization, management and implementation of certification and training programs. I'm proud to have made my passion for snowboarding and teaching my career, and I'll be teaching snowboarding for 25 years this winter! I've been able to pass on my passion to my two boys, who are now excellent, motivated riding partners. I love all conditions, all terrain, and I'm equally at home off-piste, in resorts or in kite-snow. At work or when I'm riding alone, with friends or family, I always have fun and I'm always looking for more flow and more power.

GOOD TO KNOW
Can I bring my touring skis / split-board or do I need downhill ski / snowboard equipment?
Both are accepted, but make sure your equipment has brakes (skis) or else you should have "leachs" to attach your skis to your boots.
Why be in a ski resort and not in an off-piste environment?
To improve in downhill skiing, you need volume, and unfortunately in ski touring, you don't usually do enough runs in a day to make rapid progress. The lifts will help with coaching and volume.
What happens if there's no off-piste terrain available?
Skills are similar on most terrain, so coaches will start on easy terrain and work their way up to more difficult terrain. It's easier to learn new notions on easy terrain than to be defensive on difficult terrain.
