Winter is for playing outside, even at night. This introduction to winter camping will give you an authentic learning experience in a safe, experiential setting.
As the course takes place over two days, you'll be able to spend the first evening in a refuge, setting up your plan for the following day to make the most of your experience.

SCHEDULE
DAY 1
AM - Arrive at 10am and set up shelter. Meeting with guides and participants and presentation of the training game plan.
PM - Set up and explore the area on snowshoes, then return to the refuge for an evening of discussion and exchange in front of a cozy fire.
DAY 2
Off-trail exploration on snowshoes, lunch on the trail, then return in the afternoon to set up camp near the refuge for a winter's night snuggled up in your very cold (-30°C) sleeping bag.
DAY 3
Review of experience, exchange and discussion. Return to the vehicle after a hearty breakfast. End of activity around 11 a.m.
