The range of outdoor activities for women has grown over the years, and not without good reason. There's a growing demand for women to participate in sports among themselves. As the focus of our mission, accessibility to sports for women is of great importance for the development of confidence and autonomy. Here's why women should get outdoors together.

There's much more to women's outdoor activities than a simple outing on the trails. It's a chance to get together in a space where you can breathe, take your place and dare to go a little further than you planned. In a world where responsibilities pile up and performance always seems to follow, sharing an adventure in nature with other women creates a refuge of authenticity and solidarity. No pressure, no comparison - just a community that encourages, understands and celebrates every little victory. Why is the outdoors so transformative for women? Because it opens the door to a power too often forgotten: the power of competence. If you'd like to take the plunge and join our women's outdoor community, check out our program and membership section.

A safe, caring space

In an all-female group, the pressure to perform disappears and gives way to an atmosphere of listening, respect and encouragement. This psychological security allows them to dare: to try out a new technique, to take the lead in the group, to ask all the questions that come to mind. Feeling welcomed and supported, women more easily find the courage to step out of their comfort zone.

Developing self-confidence through competence

The outdoors offers a concrete terrain for learning and practicing a variety of skills: navigation, equipment management, techniques, decision-making. Between women, learning becomes more fluid, non-judgmental and self-paced. As skills are developed, a sense of pride and self-assurance is instilled - a powerful engine for personal confidence.

Breaking down stereotypes

For a long time, the outdoors was perceived as a predominantly masculine space. Women's groups are helping to reverse this perception by creating environments where women fully occupy the field, lead outings and embody leadership. This strong presence inspires other women to step up, take their place and redefine what's possible.

Creating a bond and a sense of belonging

Sharing an adventure in nature creates authentic and lasting connections. Whether it's reaching a summit together or laughing around the fire in the evening, these moments reinforce the feeling of being surrounded and understood. In this way, the outdoors becomes a place of new friendships, spontaneous solidarity and true team spirit, without competition. Did you know that we also offer trips for women? Encouraging autonomy and self-determination

Learning how to plan an outing, read a map, choose your equipment or deal with the unexpected reinforces the feeling of autonomy. Between women, each stage becomes an opportunity to take responsibility, assert oneself and discover one's ability to take care of oneself. This autonomy developed in the field extends to other aspects of daily life. In fact, we offer several introductory activities in different sports. Find out why in our article Why sign up for an introductory sports activity.

Developing your leadership

The outdoors between women becomes a veritable leadership laboratory. Out in nature, everyone has the opportunity to make decisions, guide the group, deal with the unexpected or simply propose a new way of doing things. These moments, sometimes discreet but powerful, help to develop a more assertive voice and a more confident presence. Being surrounded by women who encourage rather than judge nurtures the audacity to take the lead, to try something new and to recognize oneself as a leader, in one's own way. What's more, each activity has the potential to lead to reflection after the outing, so you can question your own leadership.

A lasting impact beyond the business

The positive effects of women in the great outdoors don't stop at the end of the activity. The confidence, self-assurance and sense of competence gained out in nature influence personal, professional and social life. We dare more, we doubt less, we trust more. In short, you return transformed, and often with a desire to go back!

When women get outdoors together, it's a chance to grow, learn and connect. It's about rediscovering your strength and rediscovering the simple pleasure of being outdoors, together. For all those who want to try something new, meet inspiring women or reconnect with their inner power, the door is wide open: the adventure starts here.
