Think it's not for you? We thought so too, and that's exactly why we thought it should be a small group of Chèvres to encourage each other and give each other confidence. So we joined forces with Red Bull Canada, to see more people having fun out there, and get away from the impression that you have to be a professional athlete to take part in a freeride challenge like the Red Bull Raid. So get in the spirit: challenge, learn and gangbang! In official partnership with Red Bull Canada, we're offering a very VIP weekend in freeride mode. Day at the resort, freeride lessons with Mont Tremblant's top coaches, encouraged participation in the Red Bull Raid as a group, meals, aperitifs and festivities. We're in ALL INCLUSIVE mode.
A group of female skiers and a group of snowboarders: you'll have all-day lift access on Friday at Tremblant, as well as a freeride course in the afternoon, always in a pressure-free atmosphere with Chèvres to push your limits. On Saturday, it's time to get motivated as a gang, and take part in the Red Bull Raid course. What does this event involve? A touring ascent (with ski skins or a splitboard) followed by an individual descent on a course designed to be fun. We create this experience with Chèvres to take the pressure and intimidation out of this kind of event. You have to start somewhere, and all too often you feel you don't belong. Everyone gets out of their zone (haha): Pascale will be one of the judges for the skiers, and Émilie is taking the plunge: with little freeride experience, she'll be with the Chèvres gang in the field to try out this new challenge, wouhou!
Value of $1050 per person - Red Bull Canada's support makes it possible to offer a much lower price per person.
TO KNOW
Do I need alpine skis/snowboard for the Friday course or can I just use my touring skis/splitboard equipment?
Both are accepted. You can use your touring ski and split-board equipment even for Friday (course and descent to the resort), since it will be the same equipment used for the Saturday challenge.
Do I need any special freeriding or snow park skills to take part?
No need to do aerial tricks ;), no pre-requisite skills. We're here to have fun as a group and try something new. Friday is all about gaining confidence with expert tips and practice.
I'm comfortable skiing or snowboarding, but I don't think it's for me. I've never done this kind of challenge, it seems intimidating.
We've set ourselves the challenge of creating a fun atmosphere that cancels out the feeling of imposter or stress that can prevent us from taking part in this kind of event. Always less intimidating in a group, we'll have a great gang of girls to motivate us, not take ourselves too seriously and surpass ourselves in our own way.
