The Club de perfectionnement en descente (Downhill Improvement Club) was created in response to our community's enthusiasm for off-piste skiing, by offering 2-hour sessions every other Tuesday at Le Relais ski resort. The aim of the club is firstly to review certain downhill techniques on the slopes, develop new skills and then be able to consolidate these learnings so as to transpose them to the off-piste sectors you'll be exploring outside the classes. We often forget that off-piste technique is learned and mastered first and foremost on the slopes of our favorite ski resorts!
The club is therefore aimed at skiers who are not in their first season, but who need to review or learn certain downhill techniques to gain confidence and move into off-piste areas. Our team of certified coaches and passionate trainers will provide you with an enjoyable, skill-building learning experience so you can feel more stable, confident and in control of your equipment.
This winter, we will only have groups skiing.
Thursday evenings, every two weeks: January 8, January 22, February 5 and February 19
6:45 p.m. - We meet up, ready to hit the slopes
7:00 p.m. - We take the lift to start the session
9:00 p.m. - End of coaching evening
RESUMED DATE in the event of resort closure due to bad weather - The week following the missed session - You must be available.
The winter season being what it is, conditions may not be perfect for every session. However, if the ski resort is open and the ski school is holding classes, they will take place. In the event of extreme weather (blizzard, extreme cold -40, blowing snow and freezing rain), the course will be cancelled and resumed.
