PRE-SALE 10% DISCOUNT UNTIL APRIL 15 // This introduction to long-distance hiking will take place in the heart of Ouareau Forest Regional Park. Guided and supervised by our team, you will have the opportunity to hike the park's trails and pitch your tent at the end of the day to enjoy an evening of camping. Over the course of several days, you will participate in relevant workshops to prepare you for a long hike on your own.
This introductory course has an educational objective: to teach participants how to properly plan and manage a long hike, including camp management, food, safety, itinerary, etc. This weekend focused on learning and fun is perfect for learning in a relaxed atmosphere.
Day 1 - The morning will be spent organizing and discussing our equipment, dividing up food, and discussing our itinerary. Bring more rather than less; we'll have time to review the equipment on site!
You will be paired with another participant for meals (to share the weight and portions).
For sleeping arrangements, you will be paired with another participant on site if you do not already have a partner.
We should leave the site a little before lunchtime to head out on the trails. We will then settle in for the night.
Day 2 - The hike continues - we will cover distances of approximately 6 to 12 km (at most)
Day 3 - Return to the starting point.
