For this introduction to long-distance hiking, we invite you to explore the trails of the Parc du Massif du Sud. Come and develop your skills to build your autonomy in long-distance hiking! The aim of this course is to learn about long-distance hiking and camp management, not to cover masses of kilometers.

Lodging is wilderness camping - no infrastructure.

Program description
D1 - The morning will allow us to organize and discuss our gear, divide up the food and discuss route planning. We should leave the site just before lunchtime to head out on the trails. We will then settle in for the night.
You will be paired with another participant for meals (division of weight and portions). For sleeping arrangements, please let Louise know if you are interested in sharing your tent with another participant. Bring more than you need - we'll have time to go over the equipment on site!
D2 - The hike continues - distances will be around 6 to 12 km (roughly maximum)
D3 - Return to the starting point.
