To ensure you get a good night's rest, we offer accommodation in a refuge. You will benefit from our guide's advice on water and food management during long hikes, orientation and map reading principles, Leave No Trace principles, equipment, and energy management during long hikes. The Traversée du Philosore offers you total immersion in nature!
This long hike is designed to be an all-inclusive package so you can fully enjoy every moment. Our guide will accompany you on this immersive adventure and ensure you have an enriching and safe experience. Food is included, and we can lend you equipment if needed. Between winding forest trails and cozy shelters nestled in the heart of nature, this hike promises a chance to disconnect, enjoy the great outdoors, and take in unforgettable views.
Special dietary requirements
You can enter them on the registration form. A vegetarian option is available, but it is not possible to have a vegan menu. A supplement may apply for special dietary requirements (e.g. gluten-free).
Day 1 – 8:30 a.m. – Equipment check and division of group gear (you will have to carry some of it)
Departure from Accueil Mauvaise to Refuge l'Orignal (8.7 km)
Day 2 – The hike continues from Refuge l'Orignal to Refuge le Philosore (10.5 km)
Day 3 – Hike from Refuge Philosore to Accueil Perthuis – shuttle service available for cars. Return in the late afternoon (3:00–4:00 p.m.)
