*** PRE-SALE UNTIL APRIL 15 - 10% DISCOUNT! Would you like to become self-sufficient and go hiking for several days? Now's the time to get the tools and knowledge to make it happen! You'll be able to live the full experience with our professional guide, Gabrielle Pilote. This initiation is designed to teach you about long-distance hiking and camp management. This fun-filled weekend of learning is perfect for learning in a relaxed atmosphere. IMPORTANT: given the snowy winter, snowshoes may be required to adapt to the conditions of the terrain explored.
For this introduction to long-distance trekking, we'll take you on a number of different trekking loops to help you get to grips with adventures that require you to carry all your own equipment. Thanks to this experience, you'll be able to develop your skills and build your autonomy in long-distance hiking.
Payment can be made in two instalments. Contact us at info@leschevresdemontagne.com
Program description
D1 - The morning will allow us to organize and discuss our gear, divide up the food and discuss route planning. We should leave the site just before lunchtime to head out on the trails. We will then settle in for the night.
You will be paired with another participant for meals (division of weight and portions). For sleeping arrangements, please let Louise know if you are interested in sharing your tent with another participant. Bring more than you need - we'll have time to go over the equipment on site!
D2 - The hike continues - distances will be around 6 to 12 km (roughly maximum)
D3 - Return to the starting point.
