Following last year's incredible experience, we're back with a formula that focuses 100% on downhill skills. Let's face it, complex off-piste terrain can be intimidating! That's exactly why we've created this downhill improvement day to help you prepare and gain confidence in natural terrain at the resort. Even if your goal is to tackle terrain outside the ski resort, the resort remains the best option for learning and progressing. We therefore offer two ski lessons taught by experts focused on techniques for skiing in the woods. This day is dedicated to learning the right techniques and also to mastering the woods in the resort so that you can feel confident on your adventures off the beaten track.
The day is spent at Sutton Ski Resort enjoying the lifts, maximizing your learning, and equipping you with the skills you need to gain confidence on more complex and natural terrain. This is an excellent first step toward achieving your backcountry goals. You will be accompanied by the ski school team throughout the day so that you can learn and progress.
This day is designed for touring riders who want to gain the confidence to tackle more complex terrain, such as on a trip. How do you choose your line and line up a few turns when there are trees, bumps and no tracks? Lots of practice on the horizon.
