PRE-SALE: 10% OFF UNTIL MAY 1 // This advanced sailing camp is designed for anyone who already holds a CANSail 1 certification and wants to develop the skills to sail independently. This new advanced camp, offered in collaboration with the Memphrémagog Sailing Club, is designed to help you progress in the sport. Over the course of these four Fridays, you’ll learn to master various skills that will help you become independent. It’s the perfect time to continue your training and start spending your weekends on the water with your girlfriends!
Upon completing the CANSail 2 certification, you will have mastered the skills needed to sail unsupervised and will have developed the reflexes required to perform maneuvers. Two-sail dinghies will be within your reach. In addition, your knowledge will be rounded out with information on hypothermia, rules of the road, weather, and safety. The CANSail 2 level is often required by schools to rent a sailboat, as it signifies independence.
CANSail2 Certification (weather permitting)
Depending on weather conditions, you may be able to earn your certification. A written exam must be taken at the end of the four sessions to pass the course. Since we are dependent on wind and weather conditions, we cannot guarantee that the exam will be held.
This program consists of 30 hours of instruction spread over 4 days of classes, held on Fridays in June.
You must already have obtained your CANSail 1 certificate.
