This itinerary outlines the main features of the trip, but nothing is set in stone. The unexpected, often the most beautiful moments, can transform the route: an unknown local festival, or a newly opened region to discover. Sometimes, nature gets in the way: snow-covered passes, torrential rain or landslides. In these cases, the itinerary fades into the background to make way for adventure, under the responsibility and discernment of the guide, who guarantees the safety and spirit of the trip.

Difficulty Level - Challenging
This trip to Patagonia begins with a 5-day trek in Torres del Paine National Park: all trails are marked and well-maintained. These days involve significant cumulative elevation gain. On some days, alternative routes are offered: in addition to the hike to reach the evening’s mountain hut, you can push a little further to enjoy a beautiful viewpoint, giving you the freedom to adjust your hike based on your energy level and the famous Patagonian weather. In Torres del Paine National Park, you’ll carry only the personal items you need for 5 days (about 10 kg); the rest can be left at the hostel in Puerto Natales and picked up before crossing into Argentina.
For the section in Chaltén, you’ll only be carrying your daypack. The hikes here are easier than in Torres del Paine, except perhaps for the final climb to Laguna de los Tres, at the foot of Fitz Roy. Once again, you can adjust your plans as you see fit once you’re there. An added touch of comfort: there’s a good selection of restaurants to choose from in the evening. Bife de chorizo and bottles of Malbec are on the menu… A great way to recover from the day’s hike!
This route is intended for women who are in good physical condition and hike in the mountains regularly. A strong mental attitude is a valuable complement to physical abilities.
