A destination we can't wait to discover: Greenland! The feeling of isolation will be great during this trip, on a multi-day trek (including two days on your own) along Greenland's east coast. Crossing a glacier on foot, exploring glaciers on the water during two sea kayaking outings, a trip to take the pulse of the Arctic environment.
Guided by Renée-Claude Bastien, you'll have the chance to hike into the heart of the Arctic, without the burden of complete self-sufficiency. Steep fjords, high granite walls, glaciers and icebergs will accompany you on this memorable journey.
Registration details can be found in the "To know" tab.
The trip will be confirmed no later than two months before departure, on June 12.

Effort - 3/5 - Sustained
A trek that requires more than ten consecutive days of walking in relatively isolated Arctic fjords. We'll walk an average of 6-7 hours each day, with only your day gear to carry in your rucksack.
Cumulative daily vertical drops do not exceed 800 m. The terrain is certainly an element of difficulty to be considered for those who have never left the marked trails. Moraines are often unstable, and moss and rock can be slippery. But above all, you'll need to be cold-blooded enough to ford icy rivers and torrents. The guides will ensure safe passage, but you'll need to get the hang of it.
There will also be 2 sea kayak outings on stable water. A minimum level of experience is required. We suggest you have a FQCK level 1 as a prerequisite (kayak outing optional otherwise).
Greenland in summer shouldn't intimidate you too much. The weather is generally quite fine, although fog or showers can last a few days on occasion. Possible windstorms too.
